TikTok Story Downloader
Paste a TikTok story link. Save it before it disappears in 24 hours.
How to Download a TikTok Story
Copy the story link
Open TikTok, tap the story you want to save. Tap the Share button, then tap Copy Link. If you can't find Copy Link, the story might not support sharing.
Paste the link here
Come back to SnapVid and paste the URL into the input field above. We process stories the same way as regular TikTok videos.
Download before it expires
The story will show up with download options. Save it to your device — once the 24-hour window closes on TikTok, the story is gone for good.
What You Can Do With TikTok Stories
TikTok stories disappear after 24 hours — this page is for saving them before they're gone. Same process as downloading a regular video: paste the link, tap download. The only difference is the time limit.
Save Before They Disappear
Stories expire after 24 hours on TikTok. If you want to keep one, download it while it's still live.
Same Quality as the Original
You get the same file the creator posted. No re-encoding, no quality loss from screen recording.
Also Works for Regular Videos
Same tool, same process. If you paste a regular TikTok video link instead of a story, it downloads that too.
Download TikTok videos ->Works in Your Browser
No app to install. iPhone, Android, desktop — just open your browser, paste, and download.
FAQ
How long do TikTok stories last?
24 hours from when the creator posts them. After that, they disappear from TikTok and can no longer be downloaded.
Can I download a story after it expired?
No. Once a TikTok story expires, the file is no longer accessible. You need to download it while it's still live.
Can I download stories from private accounts?
No. SnapVid can only access content from public profiles. If the account is private, the story won't load.
Will the creator know I downloaded their story?
SnapVid doesn't interact with your TikTok account. We process the link you give us — no login, no account connection. Whether TikTok shows your view depends on if you watched the story in the app before copying the link.
What's the difference between a TikTok story and a regular TikTok video?
A story is temporary — it disappears after 24 hours and doesn't show on the creator's profile grid. A regular video stays permanently until the creator deletes it.
Why can't I find the Copy Link option for a story?
Some creators disable sharing on their stories. If you don't see the Copy Link button in the share menu, the creator has turned off that option and the story can't be downloaded through external tools.
